AMERICAN AGRICULTURE INDUSTRIES BEWARE

American politicians and well funded Animal rights extremists VERSUS American Farmers, Ranchers and the Right to Own and Harvest our Livestock

When an individual is arrested for SUSPICION of owning fighting cocks at his residence law enforcement officers create a situation that endangers human lives and then the person is immediately threatened with jail time and his property (livestock) is seized. If the person has a spouse they to are threatened with jail time.

If they have children the immediate threat is the children may be hurt by Law Enforcement during a cockfighting raid and then the follow up damage to the children as they are forced to watch as their parents are subjugated and treated like criminals by government officials over chickens.

Do you think it doesn't damage the hell out of a child's mind to find out that their parents may be killed and treated like criminals and forced into prison by our government as our government clearly displays to our children that the chickens are more important than the lives of the child's parents?

Then follow that damage to the psychological development of the child with tearing the children away from the parents by Child Protection Services and placing them into foster care. Even if the children's only role was to take care of the fowl.

EVEN THOUGH THESE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

These are the threats that Law Enforcement use to INTIMIDATE these American citizens to co-operate. They also threaten them with an ambiguous cost of the feed and care of the seized (property) poultry for every day they are in Animal Control. If the intimidated couple fold and sign over the poultry to be killed then even BABY CHICKS (YES THOSE CUTE FUZZY TINY BUNDLES OF LIFE ARE HEARTLESSLY KILLED) also HENS are killed along with the roosters.

In many cases the Law Enforcement are bullied into acting on a tip given to the Humane Society and always feel their job is on the line by the threat of the Humane Society blowing the whistle if they don't act.

But there is no excuse for the amount of force used or the intimidation (taking away the children) by Law Enforcement in such a TERRORIST ACT upon American citizens protected by the AMERICAN CONSTITUTION.

There is no EXCUSE or JUSTIFICATION to treat our citizens in this manor especially over a CHICKEN.

Anytime it is business as usual to POINT A GUN at an American citizen with your FINGER on the trigger (over a chicken) and threaten to TAKE AWAY THEIR CHILDREN we as a SOCIETY (are putting chickens above human lives) have lost our perspective and our government has failed to support and defend our constitutional rights, failed to DEFEND our human rights and dignity and failed to PROTECT the lives of our citizens and in fact is creating a danger to human lives over chickens.

Gamecocks are harvested by allowing them to fight just as beef cattle are harvested by severe trauma to the head, goats are harvested by hanging them by their back feet and cutting their throats, fish are harvested by throwing them onto a block of ice to suffocate dairy cattle are harvested by milking them and deer are harvested by shooting them through the lungs so they drown in their own blood. Each species has it's own method of harvest.

Livestock is livestock, harvest is harvest, these cockfighting laws make it illegal to own and possess our livestock for the purpose of and/or with the intent to harvest our livestock.

So the question is, could our government apply these same laws to these industries and attempt to publicly justify doing the same thing to the cattlemen, pig farmers, commercial poultry farmers, fish farmers, goat farmers and deer hunters to stop them from harvesting of their livestock? I mean under the 14th amendment we're all entitled to equal protection (trampling) of the law (constitution) right?
